The Sahil Chugh Trio is a contemporary jazz group based in Edmonton, Alberta. They have played extensively in the city over the last three years including a performance this year at esteemed jazz venue the Yardbird Suite for a showcase on local musicians. The band - made up of Jon Guenter on Drums and Andreas Wegner on Bass - will be performing a set of original music that has a strong focus on collective improvisation. With lyrical melodies, contemporary harmonies and intricate rhythms each song tells a story in it’s own unique way.

Le trio Sahil Chugh est un groupe de jazz contemporain. Ils ont joué un peu partout à travers la ville d’Edmonton au cours des trois dernières années, incluant une performance au célèbre Yardbird Suite lors d’une soirée dédiée aux musiciens locaux. Le groupe, composé de Jon Guenter à la batterie et d’Andreas Wegner à la guitare basse, performeront une collection de musique originale axée sur l’improvisation collective.
