Cassidy Brewster

In grade two, Cassidy came home from school one day excited that she had signed up for the talent show. When asked what her talent was, with a big grin she said, “I’m going to sing”. Her first performance was “Oh Canada” to open the talent show, without a lesson under her belt.

Cassidy is extremely passionate about singing and music in general and a few years ago she began playing guitar and ukulele to accompany herself. Cassidy enjoys a variety of artistic endeavors, including painting, drawing and musical theatre. Cassidy’s dream of a future in the fine arts field fuels her commitment to her high school academics. When she is not spending time with friends and family, she volunteers her time at the local youth group.

Now sixteen, Cassidy has enjoyed being a part of Songbirds in Devon, Alberta for the past five years and always stays true to their motto of, “Have fun, do your best, tell the story, and you are a superstar”. Cassidy has been lucky to be a part of many performances and shows and in the summer and she can often be found busking Canada Day and other festivals.
