Piano Under the Sun

Zack grew up in Sherwood Park, playing (and practicing!) piano since the age of 5. Classically trained in Royal Conservatory, he often participated in the Sherwood Park music festivals and was an active leader in his high school band program. Currently, he is studying music composition under Allan Gilliland at Macewan University and enjoys listening to a wide variety of genres from jazz and classical all the way to alternative and kawaii future bass. When he’s not at school, he freelances in Edmonton as a composer, arranger, and performer, as well as teaching at Sherwood Park Music.

Zach Lim a grandi dans Sherwood Park, là où il joue (et pratique !) le piano depuis l’âge de 5 ans. Ayant reçu une éducation classique du Conservatoire Royal, il a souvent pris part aux festivals musicaux de son quartier. Il a également fait parti du groupe de musique de son école secondaire. Présentement, il étudie la composition musicale sous la direction d’Allan Gilliland à l’Université MacEwan. Ses goûts musicaux sont variés, allant du jazz et du classique à la musique alternative et au Kawaii Futur Bass. Lorsqu’il n’est pas à l’école, Zack est un compositeur et un artiste indépendant, enseignant également à l’école de musique Sherwood Park.
