The Running Thunder Dancers created by Adrian LaChance, deliver their spectacular brand of song, dance and storytelling. They are Alberta’s leading First Nations Dance Group who help promote health and wellness through song and dance.
Travis Dugas is a Storyteller of the people by bringing stories, legends, and ways of our ancestors into our lives through mainstream media, television, film, theatre, spoken word, workshops, presentations, and dance.
Shane Redstar originally from Whitebear, SK. He has been traditionally singing and drumming since he was a child. He says singing is his healing and continues to pass down teachings with good intentions to bring healing to all listeners.
Tammy is from Whitefish Lake First Nation and loves to write and sing her own music. Her music style is described as a mix of Contemporary, soul and R&B. Currently, she is a Performing Arts Teacher.
Zach Willier a Country and Metis style fiddler, songwriter based out of Edmonton has performed many festivals and events to date. He released his first album in March 2023 which mixes the old country sound with his new, unique voice.
With roots coming from the Saugeen First Nation Reserve in Ontario, Country Artist Stirling touches listeners' hearts and souls. He is committed to interpreting topics that matter most to him, real-life people and events.
Vanessa Beaudry grew up in Mosquito Grizzly Bear Head Lean Man First Nation, a Cree Community in Saskatchewan. Music has always been a passion for Beaudry. She is not only an accomplished singer/songwriter but her skills as a guitarist has allowed her to travel to many First Nation Communities across Canada and the U.S. Her Music is a mix of contemporary, soul and blues. Vanessa currently lives in Edmonton where she has successfully finished her Social Work Diploma.
The Kaleido Festival is organized by The Arts on the Ave Edmonton Society, a non-profit, community based, grassroots initiative engaged in development of 118th Avenue into a community arts district.
