Jemma Hicken is a folk-pop singer-songwriter hailing from Cortes Island, BC. Jemma’s songs are introspective and personal; she writes emotional and funny stories about her island upbringing and travels. Jemma is known for her unique voice, compelling lyrics, and heartfelt performances. She is currently studying music in big-city Edmonton and, with the help of guitarist Gareth Gilliland, bassist Kelsey Wood, and drummer Ryan Payne, she’s put together this exciting new project.
