/Iceis Rain is a two-spirited entrepreneur, anti-bully advocate, and recording artist from Fort McKay, Alberta, Canada.
She wrote and produced her first album ‘The Queen’ in 2014 and garnered five nominations at the 2014 Aboriginal People’s Choice Music Awards.
Iceis Rain is currently set to debut her second album 'Redemption' on Sept 19 in Toronto. She was the first two-spirited, Indigenous person in history to perform live on national television and the first two-spirited female fancy dancer in history to be initiated in the pow-wow circle. Empowered by strength, independence, and beauty, Iceis is also the star of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning documentary, Oil Sands Karaoke. She has also been featured in a number of noteworthy mediums, including Alberta Venture Magazine, Breakfast Television, City TV and CBC Radio. And her hit docuseries Queen of the Oil Patch is one of the top-rated hit series on APTN television in Canada with season two currently filming as we speak.
