Christy morin and family at kaleido 2023

Christy Morin, Founder / Executive Director Arts on the Ave

Welcome to the 19th annual Kaleido Family Arts Festival, where art becomes the heartbeat of our community. For nearly two decades, Kaleido has been a vibrant celebration of creativity, diversity, and the transformative power of the arts. At Arts on the Ave, our mission has always been to ignite the spirit of our neighborhood through artistic expression, and Kaleido embodies this mission in its fullest form.

This festival is not just an event; it’s a living, breathing canvas where artists, performers, and the community come together to create something extraordinary. Our vision is to weave art into the very fabric of Edmonton’s inner city, creating a space where life and art constantly intersect and inspire. Every mural, every performance, and every shared experience here is a testament to the magic that happens when creativity flows freely.

Kaleido is a place where imaginations soar, and the ordinary becomes extraordinary. It’s where we celebrate the unique voices of our artists, honor the rich cultural tapestry of our community, and invite everyone—young and old—to experience the joy of creation. Thank you for being part of this artistic journey with us, where every brushstroke and every note plays a part in building a more vibrant and connected community.
