The Borch Brothers - Rigel, Marten, and Garnet - are an East coast fiddle band playing folk with hints of jazz, swing, Ukrainian, and Celtic music. The trio has been playing gigs together since 2003 when the youngest member, Rigel, was just 2 years old! With their fiddle, guitar, vocals, harmonica, kick-drum, accordion, and piano, The Borch Brothers have now become one of the longest standing buskers at the Old Strathcona Farmer’s Market and have played at Big Valley Jamboree, Canadian Finals Rodeo, and more. Focused on community, the group loves to make connections and put their crowds in a good, dance-y mood.
